Sharon Sprung, noted instructor of both the National Academy of Fine Arts, New York and the Art Students League of New York, is furthering the tradition of American figurative painting with her masterful work.
Her most recent accomplishment was taking 1st Place at the annual 2010 Members Only Competition, in the Non-Commissioned Portrait Category, of the Portrait Society of America.
Sprung was also a part of the prestigious and marvelous invitational show "Solemn & Sublime: Contemporary American Figurative Painting" at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT end of 2010.
